About Owen

Owen Woodley – Deputy CEO

Owen joined Moneyway in January 2007 as Sales & Marketing Director after having spent 20 years at Barclays – your cue to say “Owen, you don’t look old enough!”. Owen has been recently promoted to Deputy CEO.

He started his career in corporate banking in London, followed by a number of years running parts of the Barclays businesses in Africa. More recently, Owen was Regional Director for the 450 Barclays and Woolwich branches in the Midlands and in London.

At Moneyway, Owen is responsible for the marketing function (that is all the fluffy stuff like the brand and the advertising), the high street Branches, the customer sign-up call centre and the debt management business. His job is very simple. Owen is there to ensure that we are constantly improving our products and services for our lovely customers.

Away from the office, Owen lives in a very old house with his lovely wife and two children. He loves food and wine and is a very bad, but enthusiastic, musician.

Hi Owen, being one of the top guys in banking know how. can we ever see an end to our banking worries, how did we get in such a state if we were lead to belive that the banks were god like and had perfect control over our money. How do we know something like this would never happen again. I never thought it would take so long to sell a house, will the market pick ever again, I feel so trapped. hope you can shed some flicker of light on this for me in a more simple way of understanding.
    Many thanks Owen

What the best plan for paying a mortgage when times are tight?

Can I ask for a payment break?
